Some machines get stuck if the processes are so high and heavy. I wanted to know whether this machine could work smoothly. I know how to make it except I am required to use arrays and procedures.
While I know what a procedure is, I have only have a vague idea of what an array is and how to use it. I'm not the greatest in class and didn't pay attention while learnt arrays and am struggling to put one into the program.
If someone could detail what an array is and how to use it or even give an example I would be grateful.

Pls see the following processors .....AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Socket 754) , AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Socket 939) or AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Socket AM2) , Intel Pentium IV 3.06Ghz with HT emt64 ..... i want to play games like farcry , do web development using macromedia and adobe products and want to use visual studio 2005 as well as java netbeans other than burning cds, listen to music , watch movies . i don't want to use CAD CAM softwares or video editing softwares such as MAYA or 3D MAX.
I'll be using a compatible motherboard for the processor 128MB PCI express graphics card and 512MD DDR RAM module.
All types of comments are welcome ......!!!

each .net language need a .net framework to work as it is dependent on this framework. its just like jvm for java.

I'm using visual studio 2005, i'm doing a project in college and fairly new to the program. i'm using visual basic language (no C,c++,java, ect)
I have code to change my textbox to bold or italic, ect.
however i can not get the code to use both - i have tried various different approachs. all have failed.
TextBox1.Font = New System.Drawing.Font(TextBox1.Font, FontStyle.Bold)
is what i have to make it bold, i have tried all the following with no success

I'm using visual studio 2005, i'm doing a project in college and fairly new to the program. i'm using visual basic language (no C,c++,java, ect)
I've been trying to set a command button and a textbox to be bold in font and change the size.
I need to do this in code as i have made a button to enable/disable bold and a numeric up/down to change the font size.
although i can get the values i want to display in a textbox.
eg i can get txt1.text to be = to int(numupdown.text)
i just don't seem to know how to get the font to bold, looking i found various things font.bold = true, font.bold seems to be read only.
any help would be great, been scratching my head for a while and my lecturer is also stumped!

I currently have:

TextBox1.Font = New Font(FontFamily.GenericSansSerif, number)
Originally i only had:
TextBox1.Font = New Font(FontFamily.GenericSansSerif, 12.0F)
'This Worked Fine but limits me to only changing the font to one size per line of code.
The code i have now doesn't work, but its the area i'm looking at to fix the problem. i basically want the font in txt1 to be the size that is in the numeric value in txt2.
eg, txt2 = 12, then txt1's fontsize = 12
Any help would be greatly apreciatted.
Otherwise only thing i can think of is to create 72 different lines of code just for this :(

I wanna make portal website which can run in Linux.so i Searched abt that so im gng 4 Grasshopper 2.5.i have installed VS Team System 2008.and im working on vista os.so i dwnload n run successfully.so mainsoft visual c# java EE comes in project types so whem im selectng visual c# java EE comes(project types)->Asp.net web application(visual studio installed templates)-->OK. 1 error comes in POP-UP MENU LIKE could not locate c:\program Files\mainsoft for java EE 2.5\java_refs\framework\System.Web.Exten... Please use the Browse tab to add the Java reference.
so while im clickng on ok solution explorer will b disappear.so i cant able 2 add java reference by dng right click or else.
so im nt able 2 make project by using grasshopper.and if i wanna make website using database connectivity in grasshopper then wat 2 do? and after making how to deploy WAR file on tomcat.and then how to publish or run that on Linux..so plz plz guide me on this.how to resolveabove error?.whats my further step?

I have 512 ram, and its just for school, but i want to be able to use Visual studio 2008/2005 and photoshop CS3 on it. The memory is shared so that it has 128MB for vram, and 385 or whatever for system memory. Should I adjust the vram down to 64, and have more for sysmem when it comes to java scripting and visual studio and photoshop?

I want to learn how to use Visual Studio and as a college student have licenses to all versions including the new 2008. I have intermediate experience in java programming but a beginner to .net. Which would be the best to learn on? Also, are any of the versions free if I didn't have the licenses?

I am honestly not sure if I want to do computer programming, web design or database administration. I know C,C++, some Java, javascript, python, HTML (I hand code it), SQL (Oracle and MS 2000), Pascal and VB. I know a little about artificial intelligence. I even know something about optimizing image file sizes for the web. I have an Associate's Degree in Computer Programming from 1999. I have a decent web presence due to various open source software that I helped with.
Despite all of this, I can't seem to get into any IT jobs. I got into one, but they let me go after a few months because they hired me for a position that they were not ready to hire anyone for in the first place. I was an MIS Developer I there. I used MS SQL Server 2000 while I was there.
How do I fix my career path and get into an IT job where I can be happy?

How i can connect java with SQL server??
I have the driver of microsoft for jdbc .
My class compilation dont generate Errors.
but if I excute my class , then try the next exception...
java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Error establishing socket.
Whats is the problem??
