I have a licensed copy of Visual Studio .Net 2003. It is an academic licensed that I purchased through my university [Go Longhorns! ;)]. I need the patch meantioned in this knowledge base article - KB828734:

Unlike most patches that you can just download, this patch requires that you email support to receive it. In the process of emailing support, one thing you have to do is enter your product key for Vis Studio. Problem is Microsoft won't accept MSDN or academic licenses for free support. They want me to pay $99 for a support package that I may never need/use again. I was wondering if there are any other places I could look for this patch. |
