Interview Question :: How to install ms sql server 2005 express edition |
i want to install ms sql server 2005 express edition(advance series sp2)
are these steps rite to go, i have win xp sp2
- install .net frame work 2.0
- install msxml 6.0
- install information server 5
- join server to active dir domain(??)
- install sql server express edition with advavnced series sp2 (SQLEXPR_ADV.EXE)
2 questions, can anyone plz help
1.when should i install server management studio express
2. when and how do i join the server(VMware) to active directory domain
