there is two things you have to download to do it apparently i have the firs one which is Visual C# 2008 Express Edition but when i click on the next link down to get Microsoft XNA Game Studio 3.0 CTP it doesn't work. every link i can find to download it does the same thing it takes me to this page....http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai... any help would be great thanks =]

Basically I have downloaded the XNA Game Studio 3.0 Beta, and the Visual c# 2008 and have added my zune as a device. When I deploy the game or program, I get an error and a bunch of warnings. PLEASE HELP!

i NEED SOME HELP!!!!!!!! WHAT AM I MISSING IN MY CODE TO MAKE IT WORK??????????/

I have a desktop running Microsoft Windows Vista, Home Premium. I would like to use either MS SQL 2005, or the 2008 CTP. It doesn't really matter to me. What I need to know is everything I need to download (links would be great) and install in order to be able to create a few files, and start coding some Transact SQL statements.

Can this be done on a stand-alone desktop system? Do I need "Management Studio"? What version? Do I need some kind of a .net framework download? Visual Studio? (I'm sorry, I really don't know much about this and am REALLY counting on the kindness of strangers to get me started.)

basically, i want this person to tell me the expiration date of a food product and they have to enter it in the form of mm/dd/yyyy

then i want to return to them the day they entered so the program would look like this:

Enter expiration date in the form mm/dd/yyyy: 3/19/2008

below is what ive been trying to put into visual studio, but it wont work, im not sure how exactly to have an input in the form of mm/dd/yyyy and then be able to store the month 'm' day 'd' and year 'y' as seperate variable, could you please correct what i have entered below to how it should look?

mmm I can see the radioButton in visual studio, but i can't find the radioButtonList (VS 2008)
Does it even still exist???

I have ATI video card and dual monitors.
I am developing in Visual Studio .NET 2005 and 2008
Anytime I compile or debug a program, my monitors go black a few times as if a full screen command prompt is displayed. After a few seconds, everything is back to normal. It sometimes happens when opening a program but I can make it happen every time when I run a program in the visual studio IDE.

The monitors are not losing a signal as I am not seeing a message, and the power button is not changing from green to orange. It stays green.

Any ideas?

I have an Asus EeePC 4G Surf, Windows XP Installed with all the drivers on the Asus disc. But, XP says i have 150 MB disk space free, and Visual Basic 2008 needs ~600 MB. My Temp directory is pretty big, and I was wondering if cleaning out that directory will mess up my currently installed applications.
I run:
- Visual Studio 6
- Metasploit 3
- Office 2003
- Comodo Personal Firewall
- 7-Zip
- Firefox 3
- NetTalk
- avast! Antivirus
- MadTracker

Will any of the programs above get corrupted if I erase the contents of the Temp directory?
(Or any program, for that matter?)

...error 503.
I said it had happened since I had installed PHP and FastCGI.

But, I have removed it now and the default pool keeps turning off, I have deleted and removed all my applications from the server and there is still an error, all applications pools deleted apart from the Classic and DefaultAppPool, the DefaultAppPool still keeps stopping though.

The error keeps returning:

Service Unavailable

--------------------------------------...

HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.

MSMQ is the only available application I have left, but I don't know if that is working or not.

Can you help me?

I am new to programming and I am taking an intro course to C++.
I am required to submit my assignments electronically. My prof needs 2 things:

1) The source code for the assignment. (I assume this is the .cpp file)

2) The binary executable file. I don' t know where the heck to find this, and I'm not even sure what it even is.

So, how would I save my source code and binary executable file to say...my desktop, so that I could upload them after?

I'm using Visual C++ Studio 2008.
