Hi, I adore Firefox, however it keeps crashing no matter howmany times I re-install it. I know that add-ons can sometimes affect it's performace, but can this be the reak reason?
Add-ons I currently have:
Adobe Acrobat
Java(TM) Platform SE 6 U10 (JavaTM Platform binary)
Java(TM) Platform SE 6 U10 (Java Plug-In 1.6.0_10 for Netscape Navigator DLL Helper)
Microsoft Windows Media Played Firefox Plugin
Mozilla Default Plug-In
Shockwave Flash
Silverlight Plug-In
Are any of these add-ons likely to affect Firefox and make it crash? What else can I try as this is really getting on my nerves now?

ever since i uninstalled a bunch windows\installer\ files i cannot use office 07 or silverlight,
i tried reinstalling office but it says ''office encountered a problem during set up.''
how can i fix this?
i ran ccleaner, glary utilities, and eusing free registry cleaner'' to clean the left over crap up.

I found the following steps to building a website from scratch:
Start with a book like "HTML for dummies" or "How to build a web site in 21 days".
I recommend the following path:
1. Basic HTML
2. Basic Javascript
3. Basic image processing
4. Advanced HTML (stylesheets+dynamic html creation)
5. Advanced Javascript
6. Basic server side scripting with php or asp
7. Web server setup
depending on whether you have something specific in mind, items 4 to 7 can be reordered, and you may want to learn flash, silverlight, java, python, perl, C#, SQL, and much much more
Would I be better off doing the long route, or is Sitesell legit?

I understand it is some type of a program but what does it do. I am thinking it is related to fonts in some way. Does it work on Windows XP?

Jeez, silverlight plugin, media player, internet explorer, and all that crap, but it's still not going well for them, thankfully for the rest of us. Most people now use firefox, opera, or chrome rather than Microshaft's heavily flawed browser, the only place you need silverlight is on the Windoze and Microshaft sites (e.g. flash still owns) open office is becoming more popular by the second, and everyone knows that itunes owns wmp. So, why are they still in the running?

In the add/remove programs I saw I do have NVIDIA drivers, so do I need that update?
The Silverlight update says: Microsoft Silverlight is a lightweight browser plug-in for Internet Explorer and Firefox that blends animation, audio/video, and interactivity to deliver richer Web site experiences
*(so should I install this one?)
Since they're not high priority, does that mean I will never need any of them? Do you think I should install any of these updates, if so which ones & why?

I'm trying to download content to my XBOX 360 using the Web Marketplace on PC (the new feature that came with NXE) but it keeps saying you do not have permission to download this or I require Microsoft Silverlight.
I have a valid XBOX Live Membership with no Family Settings (The Web Marketplace worked before for me), installed Silverlight and it still doesn't work.
What's wrong?

I can't get Netflix watch instantly to work. I have installed Microsoft Silverlight so many times from so many different places. Silverlight is in my control panel in the Add/Remove programs so I know it is installed on my computer. Whenever I go to the movie to watch it instantly it is just at the original of having installing silverlight. But I have. Netflix isn't recognizing that I already have installed Silverlight and I am not able to watch the movie. I have restarted the computer after installing and have restarted the movie page so many times after instalation. What should I do?

I just bought "netflix", and when i tried to download "microsoft silverlight", so i'll be able to WATCH the movies/shows, it says
"Microsoft Silverlight is not supported in your operating environment"
It says i need Microsoft windows XP and vista...but i have XP.
What should i do?

When I went to the official linerider website, linerider.com, I went to play game, and it told me I had to install "Microsoft Silverlight". And so I did, then I reloaded the page several times and in several different ways, yet every time it said I had to install Microsoft Silverlight. Please help, also. Is there another website that I can play linerider unbound on? My computer is a newer version of Apple Macintosh OSX.

Where can I get a DVD decoder for windows xp for free? Somehow lost mine. Is there one on windows update? And what is Silverlight? Should I get it? Thanks

Do all these plug-ins do the same job and do i need them all installed on my computer?

I installed the latest version of Java the other day and it slowed my computer & browser down to a complete stand still, so i removed it now everthing is running super fast so do i really need Java or will the other two plug-ins do its job?

Hi. When I try to watch a Netflix Instant Play movie or tv show, nothing comes up and all there is is the red backround with netflix written on it. Silverlight is working and I already tried uninstalling it. Can anyone help?
