Nokia Series 60 and higher versions uses Symbian OS. But I have seen a lot of users sufferring from virus attack and also auto restart problems. Sometimes their phone hangs and you need to remove battery physically to restart the phone. But series 40 phones are heard to be stable and quite rich with J2ME features. Does anyone have any clear idea about comparing series 40 with series 60 or higher?

I would like to ask the respected community to advise me choosing a project topic for my MSC degree in information security and corporate intelligence. My educational background is related to programming and I want to choose a project which is based on programming in Java, VB, J2me or .NET. I had many ideas in my mind but as I researched I found that those ideas were already been explored.
I want to do some practical project with mobile technology and security.
if someone please suggest me some interesting ideas I will be much obliged.

I was wondering if someone knows of a simple code (including what package it's from) that I could use to place a graphic into a java application (not applet!), using a source file found in the same directory as my .java/.class files.
Please note, I am not dealing with J2ME. Thanks. :)

I download TrackID J2ME by Inettools ... supposed to work on Nokia... but when i tried i get ServerError which it tries to contact server.
Also do you know any similar program for PC... that takes a 5 seconds sample and then it will identify the info. Most program I know need to have the whole audio file.

this easy-to-make `thing` has world-wide use & is graphical can display images and 'cause no1 has done it before thats why you dont see it out there yet! i could make it public domain too maybe.. its based on a very simple universal concept i've basically discovered over years of playing with advertising as a hobby 'n theres lots of other ideas to get out into the open and maybe many people have the same problem - why should protection stop you from getting an idea out, without losing your original rights to it ? your answers + help and ideas;)/views/experience on this is appreciated tanx
