Dear all, i am sw engineer working in JAVA/J2EE technology for last 2.5 years.And plz tell me after 3 years i want to get into the MNC , for that what are all the preparation i can do in terms of technology in INDIA. As i am programmer, i am strong in programs.What additionl things i have to learn (e.g)Database, Testing tools.etc.If i learn any testing tools like winrunner, Rational Rose,etc , will it helpfull for me.

hi,iam a guy with average logical thinking.I did a course in java and j2ee,but i felt it so difficult especially the syntax and packages etc...totally confused.So i want to switch over to php language which many says very simple similar to html.I want to know whether it is really very easy to master in php for an average guy like me or else do i have to move to some other platform like software testing .Then,plz tell me the scope of both s/w testing and php.plz tell me ,very serious coz i have to fix my career in either of this.

What type of students Microsoft wants.There are commerce graduates who do Diplomas,Certification,GNIIT from NIIT learn basics of Computers and Recent Technology like java,j2ee,.Net and get in to IT industry like Infosys,Wipro,TCS,HCL,Microsoft etc.I want to know what knowledge we have to Possess to get in to giant company like Microsoft whose latest technology is .Net.If you have knowledge in .Net technology will MS hire you for their projects or thre is a clain that only B.E/B.Tec can catch those big fish.I want users opinion on this.

Hi,
I just graduated from the Rochester Institute of technology with an undergraduate degree in Information Technology.
I am now in the process of looking for my first full time job. During my studies at RIT I really liked web development. I am very proficient in XHTML, css, php, and javascript. While I did do some programming in JAVA and ASP.net, I feel my strongest (and most interesting language) is php.
On my co-ops I created small to medium sized database driven applications with php/mysql/mootools and it turned out pretty good.
One of my co-ops was in a J2EE environment, which I did not enjoy.
Is there anything wrong with targeting a job search for a particular development platform?

Hi,
I am a software engineer. I got my training in J2EE and Oracle. But
now i am working on database only. i dont have to code. i m doing
regression testing only. my friends suggested me to switch to oracle.
now i m trying to study more about oracle.
My question is which book should i study - oracle 9i or 10g ? what
will be useful to me because i m going to complete my 1 year in IT
industry in coming November.
U guys r experienced. plz suggest me what should i do. i m not working
on java so i think i need to study oracle only. plz help me. i m very
much confused.
