I am a B.E (non IT)graduate working as a System Administrator(Support) in a IT firm for the past 18 months.This is my first job and now I prefer job change with profile change also.I am not interested in continuing this job profile.I wish to move to any other profile other than this.As I am non IT grad I was chosen for this job.I have knowledge(certification) in Java,J2EE but no exp.Please suggest me what can I do further for a btr job.I have also tried Internal swap with my current Employer but it is has gone of no use.They r not helping me out.There is no recognition,salary hike,promotion here.They have postpond our(those who joined with me) promotion because of some revenue problem in the concern.I get 2.75 lakhs per annum.Will I get a job atleast with the same salary?Can I study any certification,if so what to go with?or will I get a job in Java platform without exp?Can I move to some other profile?I am not sure where to move and how to set my career......pls help me out..........

I went to buy a Desktop and saw the iMac and was bowled over. Question is do I buy the iMac since I can configure it to run both XP as well Mac?
Here are my requirements:
a) Lot of word processing (Word, PPT, PDF etc.)
b) Some amt of J2ee programming
c) Playing games and CDroms for my kids
d) Lots of browsing (Does BSNL Broadband support iMac?)

i have installed j2sdk1.2.1 recently and i have a project to work on. I'm creating a shopping cart application. I have set the correct path anc classpath in the environment variables section. and i have coded my program into jsp and html. Now, what do i need to do in order to make the jsp pages run? When i entered the command start j2ee -verbose in the command prompt, the server started. But where do i place my jsp and html files? And what about the pictures that I have included in my jsp files.Where do I place them. Please tell me in details...

Hi,
I am an Indian and have been offered a Job offer in Utrecht ,Netherlands. I have around 4.6 years of IT experiance in Java,J2EE development.
I have been offered around 35000€ annualy.. how is this salary, will this be sufficient to live a descent life and be able to save something at the end of the month.
Whats the living cost in Utrecht like for a few things like,
1) A single room appartment?
2) Phone and Internet?
3) Weekly groceries?
It would really help me if someone could answer these queries.

i've completed my MCA in 2004 with 70% from Gulbarga University Gulbarga, Karnataka State....
since 2005 i'm working in DRDO, here i didn't get what experience the s/w industry demands. my working hour is mor 8:00 to evn 4:30 after that i'm free, i want to get experience in java/j2ee or .net. how it is possible to get experience anywhere? i want to work at evening and saturday and sunday i'm free. (without any salary also its ok for me). pl guide me. i'm very much thankful for ur advice in advance.....
