I'm developing a website with Visual Web Developer 2008 Express, using asp.net 3.5, ajax and silverlight. Also, I'll be needed database support, I think it's MS SQL that's used for Web Developer? What are all the requirments needed to run this website that I need to look for? Some hosting companies, for example say, IIS or XAML supported, but I don't know of I need those. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello
I have been asked to create a simple page which sends content to a database.
I am using Visual studio 2008 with asp.net 3.5 in VB
I have all the content and layout and the database table but dont know how to get it to send the entered form data to the database when the button is clicked.
So basically I have a series of text boxes and drop down boxes and when the user has finished entering the details it needs to send it to a Database table.
I have done this using c# before but never with VB so help would be greatly appreciated as soon as possible it is due tomorrow moring...
(this is Not any form of school or university work)

Hello guys,
I am looking for the best asp.net 3.5 hosting provider.
I am building my websites using visual studio 2008, and my old hosting plan doens't support .netFramework 3.5 unfortunately, so I should buy a new one.
Also the hosting has to support AJAX too (if many versions included it'll be great).
I know about discountasp.net , I like their services, but the storage is very low (only 1000 MB) .
So please if you know a good site that fits my needs, post it to me and I'll be more than thanksful.

This might be a long shot, but does anyone know of any completely free ASP .NET 3.5 hosts? I just find ones that are free for a couple months before paying.
It can put ads on my pages, I don't care as long as it's not porn ads.

I have searched several asp .net 3.5 hosting from google, and I got the result like discount asp and IX web hosting.Anyone have experience with these two?. I am looking for something cheap but good enough for development test server, preferably if it provide sql server 2005 and must support .net 3.5
